Jenny Barsky is the founder and instructional lead of The Math Rx. She has spent more than 25 years helping students move beyond memorized steps to develop real mathematical understanding, stronger reasoning, and greater independence.
With both a B.S. and M.S. in Mathematics, university-level teaching experience, and IB training across all levels of mathematics, Jenny specializes in identifying what a student truly understands, where their thinking breaks down, and what support will help them move forward.
She creates a learning environment where students feel safe showing unfinished thinking, making mistakes, and asking questions—so those moments become useful evidence rather than something to hide. Her goal is not simply to help students get the answer, but to help them become more confident, capable, and independent thinkers.

Aniruth (Ani) V is a senior at the University of Florida studying Psychology with a focus in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience. A former IB student, he has a strong background across mathematics, science, psychology, and computer science, along with more than 10 years of programming experience and research involving artificial intelligence.
Ani is genuinely enthusiastic about the concepts he teaches and enjoys helping students see how ideas connect. He brings an analytical, approachable style to tutoring, breaking complex material into understandable pieces while helping students build the confidence and reasoning skills to navigate unfamiliar problems on their own.

Annie T earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Princeton University and is beginning her master’s studies at the University of Cambridge. A former IB student, Annie understands both the academic demands of rigorous coursework and the confidence required to work through it successfully.
She brings a patient, encouraging approach to tutoring, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and making their thinking visible. Annie helps students understand not only what to do, but why it works, so they can approach new challenges with greater confidence and independence.
